Spooky Showcase now on sale... October 20, 2012
Just in time for Halloween, Spooky Showcase, Alan Draven's second collection of short stories and novellas is now on sale on Amazon in print format. Electronic versions of the book such as Kindle, Nook, and Kobo will follow later this year. The book features a brand new novella titled The Paradigm and a revamped previously unpublished short story from 2006 titled "A Madman's Atonement". We'd like to confirm the rumors that Sinister Landscapes, the Gothic anthology edited by Alan Draven in 2008, is going out of print in the days to come. We were considering putting Creeping Shadows out of print as well, but since all three authors featured in that collection (Alan Draven, Brandon Ford, and Jessica Lynne Gardner) will each have a book released this summer through Black Bed Sheet Books, we decided to keep the book in print for at least another year.
So hurry up and pick up a copy of Sinister Landscapes before it disappears forever. The book was a number one Amazon bestseller in the summer of 2008 and received glowing reviews. You can get a copy here. And if you're curious about checking out Creeping Shadows, the novella collection about monsters published in 2009, you can get a copy here. And Konnik, the book's cover artist, has also put together a creepy trailer for the book which you can view on YouTube . So grab a copy and spread the word! We are proud to announce our next book, Alan Draven's collection of short stories and novellas titled The Bitternest Chronicles. The book collects five previously published short stories and two brand new novellas. The proof copy of Creeping Shadows is finally ready and it looks amazing! In terms of layout and design (and maybe even content, too) it puts Sinister Landscapes, our previous book, to shame. The book featuring Alan Draven, Brandon Ford, and Jessica Lynne Gardner consists of three novellas about monsters and is 320 pages in length. It will be priced at $14.95 US/$16.95 CAD. Links to retailers will be posted right here when it goes on sale. If all goes well, it should be available everywhere online by September 25th....

On July 28, Sinister Landscapes will turn a year old. To celebrate, Pixie Dust Press is giving away a copy of the book. Not just any copy; one that readers will want to treasure as it has been autographed by eighteen of the contributors of the book. The winner will also receive many bookmarks, postcards, and other promotional materials from the contributing authors. It took us a little over seven months to accomplish this, from the UK to Canada to the USA. And now, this one of a kind copy can be yours.
But you're going to have to work for it. Here's what you have to do. Over the course of the next two weeks, put together a promotional campaign for Sinister Landscapes.
